With the countdown on to the Tenby Boxing Day Swim, the famous event has once again welcomed Princes Gate Spring Water as a sponsor.

The company is a long-time supporter of Tenby Sea Swimming Association (TSSA), which organises both the Boxing Day Swim and the summertime Caldey Swim.

TSSA chairman Chris Osborne met Princes Gate mascot Cloudy recently to receive the company’s contribution of £300, and he said: “Princes Gate have long been sponsors of Tenby Sea Swimming Association’s winter and summer swims.

“We are ever grateful for their commitment to these legendary events.”

The swim is also sponsored by Harbour Wealth Management; Fourcroft Hotel, Tenby and FBM Holidays.

This year’s fancy dress theme is Comic Characters, and there are prizes of 10 climbing wall sessions at The Overhang, Tenby, for the best junior group; 10 Heatherton passes for the best senior group; a Clarice Toys voucher for the best individual child and a meal for two at the Buccaneer, Tenby, for the best adult.

This year’s charities nominated by TSSA are the Harriet Davis Trust and PATCH.

Swimmers can also collect for their own charities and good causes.
