Tenby town centre was blacked out on Wednesday evening. An underground cable fault at The Esplanade resulted in businesses and residents losing their power supplies just after 6 pm. A spokesman for Western Power Distribution said electricity was restored in just under an hour after workmen re-routed supplies. Repairs continued yesterday (Thursday), with the work expected to be completed by the end of the day.
