On Thursday, November 8, Tenby Basketball Club played Baglan in a West Wales Senior League match at Tenby Leisure Centre. Tenby were again weakened by the absence of four regulars. The team showed the same spirit as they had in the previous game with Carmarthen.

The Tenby team took the lead and it was very close in the opening minutes. Gradually Tenby increased their lead and ended up at half-time leading 16-8.

They started the second-half as they finished the first. Baglan were finding it hard to combat the height and rebounding ability of David Rees and Matt Law. Paul Edmundson kept a tight check on one of their better players throughout the match to limit their scoring. Jason Llama and Andrew Morgan brought the ball up very well between them, while Jason Williams and Oliver Prosser did sterling work both in attack and defence. Tenby eventually ran out winners by 32-23 to record their first league win of the season.

Team with scores: David Rees 17; Matt Law 6; Jason Llama 4; Ollie Prosser, Paul Edmundson 2; Andrew Morgan 1; Jason Williams 0.
