Tenby has been nominated to enter the Britain in Bloom event again this year.

Chairman of the Tenby in Bloom organisation, and Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, told her colleagues at a meeting of the town council on Tuesday night, that the resort would be in contention for the Royal Horticultural Society’s floral competition.

Tenby’s floral team were praised again last year as the resort won its 30th Wales in Bloom title, taking top place in the new ‘coastal resort up to 12,000’ category, with a silver gilt.

Clr. Mrs. Lane told members at the meeting that she was lining up a launch evening for Tenby in Bloom in March, where ideas for projects could be discussed and explained to those involved.
