Senior citizens from Tenby and Saundersfoot have all enjoyed a festive feast in the past few days thanks to the Christmas community spirit shown by local organisations.

Tenby Round Table were delighted to host 180 senior citizens for a delicious three-course Christmas dinner extravaganza last week (December 13) at the De Valence Pavilion venue.

The occasion is generously supported by Tenby Town Council, De Valence Pavilion, and the Qube Restaurant who all donate and help to keep the costs of running the event down.

However, even with the generosity offered by those organisations, the total bill for this event is in excess of £4,500, so anyone who is able to donate to help the charitable organisation that is Tenby Round Table ‘foot the bill’ would be greatly appreciated by the hosts and all those that attended.

“If you are able to donate some money to help us pay this bill then we, and the people it has served, would be very grateful,” said a spokesperson for Tenby Round Table.

“The cost per person was approximately £25 for those we hosted in the hall.

“This festive event offers an invaluable social opportunity for those in our community who can feel isolated this time of year. We are committed to continuing this event into the future and any donations you make will help to keep this important event going.

“Thank you to those of you who have already donated. Your donations were gratefully received.
