Recently, the club was pleased to again be able to host the local Gateway Club yearly party at the Giltar Hotel, where a buffet, raffle prizes and dancing all evening was enjoyed by all who attended.
Lion President Peter Wilton emphasised that the club would continue to support those in the community who needed their ongoing help and thanked all those who helped to make the evening such a success.
The club was also pleased to present cheques to the special needs department teacher Nicola Baker and the food science cookery teacher at Greenhill School, Tenby, to enable them to buy cookery equipment and utensils for pupils' use in the domestic science and kitchen departments.
The club would also like to thank all those who took part in the recent games night which was held at the Ex-Servicemen's Club in Tenby, which is hoped to be repeated at some time in the future.
Thanks go to all the staff there who put on such a good night and lovely food.
