Belated New Year greetings from Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions Club (writes A.S.). Last December at the start of Carnival Week we held our annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair at the De Valence. We wish to thank all stallholders for attending and displaying a wonderful range of arts and crafts.
We also wish to thank the following: Those Tenby businesses who contributed to our bottle stall; Mrs. Carol Wilton for her contribution of 'gift-bags'; Tenby £1 Shop (Upper Frog Street) for their support; the staff at Tenby Events; the ATC for their help in distributing leaflets; Greenhill School Choir and Musical Quartet, plus staff - they were marvellous; all customers; plus Chevron, who sponsored our event. Thanks also to numerous others who worked behind the scenes.
Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions have made donations from this event to Greenhill School's musical department and to Tenby Events youth workshops which prove successful in holding productions at the De Valence. The young people are able to show their creativity and also have end products that families and friends can enjoy together.
Look out for our next two big events, i.e. August 2, our annual Paella Festival in the harbour and September 19, our Horse Ride at Lydstep.
