Roll up, roll up for the 'fun of the fayres'! Once again, the Lions team up with Tenby Events in organising their annual charity fund-raising Arts and Crafts Fayres to be held at the De Valence. Diary Dates record the Saturdays when these take place. During the first Saturday, stallholders will be providing a wide range of art and craft works, i.e. paintings, canvas art, prints, photographs, hand- made cards, Tenby and Saundersfoot prints, photographic gifts and hand-embroidered items, diaries, photograph albums, Christmas decorations, vintaged reclaimed crafts, kits and sewing accessories, toys, jewellery, hand-made bags, purses, silk dresses, tops, undies and scarves. During the second event on Winter Carnival Day, town crier, John Thomas, all being well, will advertise the fayre outside the De Valence in traditional style. Extra stalls will include American Indian crafts, books, jewellery, pots plus Edwardian postcards and Pembrokeshire ephemera. From 12 noon - 2 pm each Saturday, local young singer Cherrie Morgan plus friend will be entertaining everyone with carols and seasonal songs. You also have a chance on both days to guess the name of a Harrod's Teddy Bear! During the Winter Carnival evening in Tudor Square, the Lions will be selling hot soup from 5 pm. It is hoped that you will support their last ventures of the year as you have done in the past. All money raised will go to the Lions chosen charities. Thanks go to Chevron also for acting as sponsors.
