Belated thanks go to all those people who assisted with the Annual Arts and Crafts Fairs in December. And thankfully, two atrocious days of bad weather did not stop the adventurous from coming out. Thank you the stallholders for braving the elements and to those of the public who attended. Thanks also go to Clarice Toy Shop, Cofion Book Shop, the £1 Shop (Tenby), Tenby Market Butchers and Tenby Rock Shop for donating to the tombola. Christine Gonzales for the Harrods' bear; Linda Stapleton for the large bear and Carol Witton for the Christmas gift toys and to those who donated items, but did not wish to be acknowledged. The official name of the Harrods' bear was Benjamin. As no-one guessed the name, all who entered were placed into a raffle along with the large bear. Both winners did not wish to have their names printed! Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets. All money raised at these events will be donated to the Lions' chosen charities. The club acknowledges the strong support of Tenby Events and also thanks sponsor Chevron, Pembroke. The Lions look forward to planning their next Christmas Arts and Craft Fair which will be held at the De Valence on Saturday, December 6, this year. This will also be Carnival Day in town.
