Jill and John O'Sullivan 56.94; 2. Carmel Wiseman and Graham Hadlow 53.94; equal 3. Coral Jones and Denzil Evans with Irene Warlow and Rosemary Hathaway 52.08. Friday, November 23: A five-table Howell movement - 1. Gladys Irvine and Bert Barnikel 68.06; 2. Doug Silcox and Bill Glynn 53.47; equal 3. Maureen Poole and Sue Batten with Sue Enfield and Lynn Lawson, also Tina Torkington and Rosie Taylor 52.08. Last Sunday saw the successful conclusion of the club's Swiss Teams event at the Cleddau Hotel, where, as expected, the cream rose to the top. Winners were Eric Hartland, Lee Collier, Peter Milewski and Ian Haston. Chairman Tina Torkington congratulated all the winners, thanked everyone for taking part and gave a very special thank you to Irene Delahunty, secretary, for her hard work, ensuring full participation by the West Walian bridge community. Duplicate bridge is played twice weekly at the Kilgetty Community Centre, Wednesday at 7 pm and Friday at 6.30 pm. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
