Last night (Thursday) was the start of the camera club’s winter programme for 2015-2016. This year will feature several guest speakers, together with club members giving of their experience.

The summer school was again a great success and gave the less experienced photographers a chance to be on a ‘shoot’ and have help from the more experienced members. This led to two of the members, Rosie Dungey and Ali Rees, winning awards at both the Pembroke and County Shows, together with club chairman, Neil Thomas, who was also winner at the County Show.

The summer school also gave an opportunity to view images and, using the various programmes available, such as Light Room and Photoshop, members were able to alter and adjust them with help from the more experienced members present.

The winter programme will be held at the Community Hall, St. Florence, every Thursday evening from 7.30 pm. A welcome back is extended to past and present members, together with those of you who would like to be captivated by the world of photography.
