Last week's meeting at St. Florence Village Hall was a mini competition, based on members' photos taken on the club's evenings out during the summer months.
The photos were loaded onto the computer and then viewed and voted on by the audience.
After a period of question time for members to discuss their photographic concerns, there was a break for refreshments.
In the meantime, the team of adjudicators were assessing the results of the voting.
The results were: 3. Gill Mackay, MGTC; 2. Harry Gardiner, Boats Mark II; 1. Paul Deverson, His 'n' Hers. It was particularly good to see one of our newer members, winning one of the competitions.
The chairman, Doug, then announced that the Lampeter Photographic Convention had taken place over the last weekend.
Everyone was delighted to hear that Gill Mackay had won first place, with the Best Print in the WRPF Convention Competition, with her print of St. Nicholas Lane, in Tenby. Everyone offered her their warm congratulations.
The evening finished with a selection of images from the London Salon.
The next meeting will be an evening with Allen Lloyd - landscape and wildlife photographer. Everyone is welcome to the meetings, both beginners and experienced photographers.
