Last week's meeting took place at the usual venue of St. Florence Village Hall. The evening consisted of a print critique night for members to bring along four images, either prints or projected, for constructive appraisal by the club's own judges.

Lots of members brought their images and everyone enjoyed hearing the comments of the 'experts' as the work was examined.

After a break for refreshments, the projected images were appraised, followed by a DVD made by Roy Peters of a recent club trip of a weekend away in Llandeilo.

The club members were delighted to hear the news that the club had great success in a recent external print competition called the Memorial Trophy held at St. Fagans, and hosted by Cardiff Camera Club.

Tenby came second with a score of 70, only beaten by the winning club, The Vale, with a score of 71.

This will entitle Tenby Camera Club to represent the Welsh Photographic Federation in the Celtic Challenge Competition to be held later this year in Connah's Quay - a great honour.

The next meeting will be on February 19, with a talk entitled 'Down the Danube in a Canoe' by Elizabeth Hilton ARPS. Everyone is welcome to join the club, and for further details, visit http://www.tenby-camera-club.co.uk">www.tenby-camera-club.co.uk.
