Last week's meeting at St. Florence Village Hall was the Christmas social and Ron's Christmas quiz.

Ronnie Powell, a great friend to the club, prepared a super challenging quiz composed of photographs of places the club all knew well, but may not recognise instantly, if presented from a slightly different angle.

There were pictures of bus shelters and buildings, an 'I know that one' section and 'Bits and Pieces'.

Who would have thought that the mouth of a recycling bin would feature, masquerading as a letter box?

Ron had worked very hard at disguising images of every day items to look quite different. Everyone enjoyed making their best guesses, and some of them were even right!

After the results of the quiz, everyone enjoyed the wonderful spread that had been provided by all the members, and the raffle was drawn.

With many good wishes for Christmas, the meeting broke up.

Everyone is looking forward to next year when the first meeting will be on Thursday, January 8.
