Results of the latest matches are as follows: September 27 - mid-week match: Six anglers fished and times remain hard! Three species were weighed in, including the first whiting of the year. 1. Mike Williams, LSD 0.959 kg; 2. John Hinde, bag of 0.396kg. October 6 - beach match, South Beach: Six anglers again fished this Friday night adventure and just one angler located fish. Codling and LSD were recorded. Well done Don. 1. Don Price, LSD 0.728. October 11 - mid-week match: Down to five anglers for this one. Two anglers located LSD to weigh in. 1. Garfield Thomas, LSD 0.761 kg; 2. Barry Taylor, LSD 0.725 kg. October 15 - Laugharne beach match: A much improved turnout for the estuary jaunt, no doubt expecting an upturn in returns. Some 14 anglers, including one junior, made the trip. However, the flounder were elusive again and only five fish were recorded. 1. Barry ('Give us your maddies') Taylor, flounder 0.581 kg; 2. Julian Davies, bag 0.590 kg; 3. Steve ('Give me my maddies back') Lewis, 0.403 kg. This Sunday, October 22, the club has its Annual Open Festival fished on Tenby, Saundersfoot and Amroth beaches from 11 am to 4 pm. Booking in on the day is in the Coffee Tavern, Saundersfoot, Ex-Servicemen's Club, Tenby and in front of Temple Bar in Amroth.
