On September 18, an excellent carvery lunch was enjoyed by members at Begelly Pub, and on Wednesday September 25, at Augustus Place Hall, members were making lots of guesses about slides that Trevor Hallet showed. The best one which had members clapping, was the view from Castle Hill with the sun appearing as the street electric light.

The club always appreciates the talks that Trevor gives, and this was no exception! Thank you Trevor.

Next Wednesday, October 2, at Augustus Place Hall, at 2 pm, the meeting will start with a talk by Sue Biggin about herbs that grow in the Tudor Merchant's House garden. Neil and Mary are hoping to show how their garden has changed with its make-over! And a guessing competition is being held with members bringing some form (e.g. painting, jewellery, real flower, etc.) of a plant that they know the name of for the rest to guess.

Arrangements will be announced for the October 9 outing to K.P. Museum at Templeton.

New members welcome - please contact Anne on 843632 or Christine/Graham on 870277, or look at the club website.
