Three of our men from Tenby Salvation Army raised funds for the work we do by taking part in the Tenby 10k. Between them, they raised £230.

The three men were Ernie Williams, Simon James and Mike Pritchard.

They did very well indeed and we are very proud of them and say a big thank you to them.

I spoke to Ernie later about his experience in the Tenby 10k.

He told me that it was his aim and on his bucket list to take part in this event by the time he was 70 years of age.

He said that he allowed himself two hours to complete the event and he achieved this with six minutes to spare.

So Ernie was also very happy that he had achieved these goals he had set himself, as well as being able to raise funds for Tenby Salvation Army too.

He said it was a good day and a good experience.
