Pembrokeshire's well known Tempus choir travelled to London in early May by the kind invitation of Mr. Paul Lamplugh OBE (Suzy's father). Suzy disappeared some years ago and a trust was set up to help all missing young people who disappear.

Tempus performed the African Sanctus by David Fanshaw. This was based on his experience in Africa which had so much impact on him. The performance of the work was quite an achievement and David Fanshaw, who was in the audience, was delighted with it.

Seimon Morris, music director of Tempus, and David Fanshaw were both pupils at St. George's School, Windsor Castle.

They also performed a piece called 'Antiphony of A Grief Rewarded.' This was a poem by local poet Peter George set to music by Seimon Morris in memory of Suzy. The piece contained a solo cello part which was played by Katherine Haworth. David was so impressed with her playing, he has invited her to perform a piece that he has recently composed for cello.

All Saints Church at Richmond was packed with people who showed their appreciation with a standing ovation at the end of the performance. On Thursday, May 22, at 7.30 pm, Tempus will be performing the Karl Jenkins composition 'The Armed Man' as part of the Corpus Christi service to mark the fourth anniversary of the Inauguration of Monkton Rectorial Benefice. The guest preacher will be the Rt. Rev. David Thomas, assistant Bishop of the Church in Wales.

Tempus will also perform in St. Mary's Church, Tenby, on Wednesday, June 25, at 8 pm. Further details, please contact Anne Haworth on (01437) 762431, or anne@tempus,org.uk. Or visit our website; tempus.org.uk.
