Ramona Sharples and Ewan Meredith from Templeton CP School will be representing Pembrokeshire Primary Schools at this year's Red House Book Awards ceremony in Birmingham in June.
Templeton children have been taking part in the book testing and voting since September.
Ramona and Ewan are pictured holding some of the books that are through to the final short list for older readers.
Children will read and vote on these over the next few weeks.
Templeton children have already voted for their favourites in the young children's section.
