Templeton Heritage Group will be holding an exhibition entitled 'Wartime Templeton' tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 am until 4 pm. Representatives from Narberth Museum, Carew Control Tower and Scolton County Museum have been invited to attend. The ladies from Templeton Community Association will endeavour to re-create the traditional Katts Pies that were a renowned Templeton culinary speciality. These mutton pies are similar to early mutton pies recorded in 1595 by Thomas Dawson in the Good Housewife's Jewel and believed to be the forerunner of today's mince pies.
