POPULAR charity fund-raiser Donna Longhurst and her team of Templeton Girls are putting the finishing touches to organising a charity coffee morning tomorrow (Saturday).
The event, which will have a Christmas theme, is being held at Templeton Church Hall from 10 am onwards and is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The girls organised a coffee morning earlier in the year and raised the staggering sum of £3,500 for Macmillan and Sandy Bears.
On that occasion, the girls had amazing support from the local community and they are hoping for repeat success tomorrow.
As well as serving tea and coffee, there will be a variety of stalls, including cakes, books and bric-a-brac.
Highlight is sure to be the grand raffle which has once again been generously supported by local businesses and individuals who have donated an exciting array of prizes.
Star prize is a vibration plate exercise machine, while there are also gift vouchers for local shops, plus hampers filled with lots of goodies for the festive season.
With Christmas just around the corner, there will also be a special post box for children to post their letters to Father Christmas. A special seal can be purchased for £2 which will ensure the children receive a personalised reply. Children are asked to ensure they include their full name and address on their letters.
So why not pop along tomorrow and support the Templeton Girls in their festive fund-raising - you'll be sure of a warm welcome.
