Year Six pupils from Templeton School travelled to the Millenium Centre in Cardiff on Monday as they had been shortlisted for an award at the prestigious Media4Schools Awards.

The children were shortlisted in the Best Animated Film Category for their animation 'I don't want to go to School' and although they narrowly missed out on the first place, they were thrilled to have been further nominated for the Best Overall Film in the competition .

The children had a fantastic day meeting fellow pupils from Stackpole, Sageston and Neyland Schools who had also been shortlisted.

Not pictured are: Kira Barrett, Hattie Bartlett, Sol Doble, Charlotte Ings, Lloyd Mammatt, Katie Phillips, Cerys Hicks, Cerys Parry and Alastair Shepherd, who were involved in creating the animation, but have now moved on to secondary school.
