Pembroke Neighbourhood Policing Team will be looking into a number of residents' concerns following their latest forum meeting. At the meeting, residents raised concerns about the new zebra crossing which has been put in place at the bottom of West Gate Hill. Residents said the signage was poor and many drivers are unsure of who has the right of way on the crossing. The team pledged to contact the council and pass on the residents' concerns. An issue about parking related problems at Golden Grove School and concerns were raised about the safety of the pupils. The team will discuss the issue with the school and the council. Residents were also concerned regarding speeding. The team explained they had been targeting areas using the speed gun which had been donated by the town council and they would continue to do so. The Pembroke Neighbourhood Policing Team forum meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Town Hall, Pembroke, from 7-9 pm.
