Through everyone’s generosity Team Littlefoot have managed to transfer £2,000 in total so far to Sandra Knibbs Herter in Hungary; this has enabled her to buy daily necessities for the refugees.
Following on from the recent, very successful ‘Walk for Ukraine’ that Team Littlefoot organised, the next walk has been arranged for this Sunday, April 3.
Meeting at 9.30 am in the Regency Car Park in Saundersfoot, the proposed walk will be about four and half miles in length to the Heritage Park in Stepaside and return.
The walk is a flat, easy walk, with lovely views, on well made footpaths throughout and also gives the option of shorter walks for those that wish.
A walk to Coppett Hall or Wisemans Bridge may be the choice for some people where they can sit and enjoy watching the sea and the world go by, whilst waiting for the main group to return.
Refreshments will be available in the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot after the walk.
The price to join the walk is £5 per person. All money raised is being forwarded to Team Littlefoot’s contact who lives between Budapest and the Hungarian border and is currently very involved in giving help and support to the Ukraine refugees arriving in Hungary.
A further ‘Busking for Ukraine’ session is also planned for today (Saturday April 2) in the Sensory Gardens in Saundersfoot by kind permission of SCC, and a third ‘Walk for Ukraine’ on Sunday April 24, to include Amroth & Colby Gardens.
Team Littlefoot would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the appeal in any way.
