With candles lighting the path to the church, St. Issell's was the late afternoon setting on Saturday for the wedding of Bryan Llewellyn White and Hannah Curley.

The groom is the elder son of Tony and Sally White, of Saundersfoot and the bride is the only daughter of Janet Curley, of Taunton.

The groom and the best man, the groom's brother, Steven, proudly wore Welsh kilts. The ushers were Katie and Iain Cowell, the groom's sister and brother-in-law.

The bride was given away by her brother, Ben, and looked stunning in an ivory satin bodice and skirt. She carried a bouquet of red passion roses. She walked down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon played by a string quartet.

Emma Bacon, a friend of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a deep red bodice and skirt and carried ivory roses.

The service was conducted by Canon Michael Butler with readings from Rod Bradley (family friend) and Sarah White, the groom's sister.

Afterwards, the reception was held at Cwmwennol Country House Hotel, followed by a relaxing informal evening catching up with family and friends in front of a log fire with background music played by jazz pianist David Rees.

The bride and groom have made their home in Wellington, Somerset where they are both teachers, and look forward to their honeymoon at the next school holiday.
