A 'walk to work' challenge has managed to raise almost £1,000 for the Early Years classroom at Lamphey Primary School. Headteacher, Mr. Thomas, teachers, Mrs. Venables and Mr. Lloyd, and LSA Mrs. Williams walked to work from Narberth to Lamphey in the early hours of Friday morning to raise money for the school. The quartet of walkers walked the 15 miles, leaving Narberth at 4.30 am, arrived at school just in time for the start of the day at 9 am. Headteacher, Simon Thomas commented on the enthusiasm of all of his staff who undertook the walk, and hopefully set a good example for pupils and parents to consider walking or cycling to school in future.
