Teachers married at St. Florence

The wedding took place at St. Florence Church, on Saturday, of Mr. Dylan Haydn Lawrence and Miss Rebeca Salisbury.

The groom, an assistant headteacher, is the son of Mr. Richard Lawrence, of Brecon, and Mrs. Wendy Lawrence, of The Paddock, New Hedges, while the bride, also a teacher, is the daughter of Mr. Nigel Salisbury, of Llangwm, and Maria-Jesus Sarrionandia, of Pembroke Hotel, Tenby.

Given away by her father, the bride looked attractive in a strapless ivory gown. Attending her as bridesmaids were Gracie Lawrence and Marli Lawrence (daughters), who wore ivory dresses, with butterfly detail on the bodice. Best man was the groom's brother, Luke Lawrence, while ushers were Chris Salisbury (bride's brother) and Ryan and Wross Lawrence (groom's brothers). After the ceremony, which was conducted by the Rev. Victor Millgate, a reception and evening party were held at New Hedges Village Hall. Later the couple left for a honeymoon in Marrakech, Morroco. They will make their future home at Tegside, New Hedges.
