Dyfed-Powys Police have taken part in a multi-agency project targeting taxis and private hire cars in the Pembrokeshire area.

This was one of a number of checks that will take place in the run-up to the festive season and during the winter drink-drive campaign. This is being done to ensure the safety of these vehicles and their passengers in the Pembrokeshire area.

There were a total of 13 taxis checked, with only two being found to have some minor defects and these were issued with defect notices.
