Both clubs had to work hard for their eventual victories. St Clears had a three wickets win away to Camrose and Spittal after dismissing the home team for 99.
Ceri Jones took 3-21, Alun Thomas 3-24 and there were two wickets each for James Ingleton and Martin Thomas.
For the Camrose and Spittal team Phil Rees scored 49 and had support from Daniel Wilkes with 16.
Although opening batsman Martin Thomas scored 21 the St Clears team faltered as none of the other early or middle order batsmen were able to make an impact, as Phil Rees took 3-31 and Kim Norkett 2-19.
However an unbroken eighth wicket partnership between lower order batsmen Nathan Evans (27no) and Ian Thomas (18no) took the Saints to a winning total of 100-7.
Kilgetty scored 135-9 at home to Pembroke. Although a number of batsmen made useful contributions, particularly Gareth Edwards with 19, skipper Anthony Bevan held things together with an excellent knock of 42.
For the visitors Anton John took 5-23 and Rob Weston 2-37.
Opening batsman Paul White scored 16 Pembroke before wickets started to fall regularly until Andrew Price and Colin Kaijaks turned things around with each batsman scoring 31.
However on their respective dismissals the victory bid fell away as Anthony Bevan followed up his batting to take 3-32 and Neil Powling 2-25 as the Pembroke team were held to 120-7, to give the much improved Kilgetty team, victory by a margin of 15 runs.
