Join Mick Brown tonight at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery (Friday, October 19 at 7 pm) for his presentation ‘Birds of Feather’.
Using his own photographs, Mick will take a detailed look at birds and the evolution of their feathers - the many different types, their various uses through time as ceremonial artefacts, fashion objects, and even as a currency for paying rent!
Mick has been working on small expedition ships in the Arctic and Antarctica for the past 18 years. For over 40 years, Mick has been associated with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks, spending time on the island nature reserves of Skomer, Skokholm, Ramsey, Grassholm and St Margaret’s Island. His knowledge about the natural environment and its flora and fauna has been the subject of many popular talks over the years and this one will be no exception.
If you are interested in attending please contact Tenby Museum on 01834 842809. The ticket costs £5 (£4 if you are a Friend of the Museum).
