There was a tight finish to the stableford on Sunday, May 19, with Mel Neale edging out Rob Evans on countback, each scoring 36 points. Chris Hicks, with 35, was third (also on countback) and registered a two, as did the winner.
Dave Shooter finished in front on Saturday, May 25, winning the stableford with 35 points. Phil Catlin was second with 33 and Roger Cryer third with 32. Neil Thomas scored the only two.
John Bancroft won the Tuesday stableford in breezy conditions on May 14, with 31 points. David Owen was second with 29. The following Tuesday saw Ivan Kirk put a good run of pars together to win with 34 points. John Bancroft was second with 32 and Terry Whiston third with 31. There was no seniors stableford on May 23.
Those who are still involved in the two singles matchplay cups are reminded that the deadline for second round matches in the Wesley House Cup is Tuesday, June 11, and in the Laidler Cup is Tuesday, June 18.
With Trefloyne playing their third Dyfed League match against South Pembs. tomorrow (Saturday), members are reminded that the June monthly medal takes place this Sunday, June 2. The Seniors play their next match, at home to St. David's on Thursday, June 6, and those wishing to play are asked to add their names to the list in the Pro's shop.
The Juniors played a stableford on Sunday, May 19, with Nathan Lewis earning himself a deserved handicap reduction after winning with a resounding 45-point haul. Richard Thomas was second on countback and Luke Laidler was third, each scoring 36 points.
