Sir,
Gone are the days when we had a daily refuse collection and eight to 10 road sweepers to keep our town spotless.
But now, on the three days the lorry comes to town, the streets are strewn with the contents of the black bin bags.
I go up to town around 6.30 in the morning in the summer, but the gulls are about two hours before me.
It is heart-breaking for the sweepers to clean up a street and half-an-hour later have to do it all over again.
Why can't people put out the bags in the morning about 7.30 - that is not too early - or buy a sheet, cost £2 - a small price to pay to keep Tenby as we would all like to see it.
Come on, take a bit of pride in our town, not only for the visitors, but for ourselves who love to live in Tenby.
B. Beynon,
6 The Glebe,
Tenby.
