Pembrokeshire County Council has stated that its gritting teams will be out and about tonight (January 16), with the possibility of flurries of snow across parts of the county and coastal regions this evening and overnight.

A spokesperson for the Local Authority said: “A period of cold weather with temperatures dipping as low as -2.5°C is forecast overnight with a possibility of some very light snow showers tomorrow morning.

“We will therefore be gritting all the county’s primary and secondary routes this evening and again tomorrow morning. Please take care, especially on untreated routes.”

On Tuesday, the MET office forecast is for a bright day with sunny spells and wintry showers, with snow flurries likely at times near coasts and across higher ground.

Light winds to start but freshening later. Remaining cold. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
