Chairman of Narberth and Whitland Round Table, Eurig Harries, together with members Meurig Jones, Chris Helps, Andrew Graham and Mark Phillips recently presented a cheque to Tenby and District branch of Leukaemia Research representatives, Mr. and Mrs. Jones. The magnificent sum of £1,531.59 was raised at a May Ball organised by the tablers at Clunderwen Hall earlier in the summer. It was a great night of fun and fund-raising, with dancing until late to 'The Dhogie Band'. The charity was chosen by the chairman and his wife because Jane's sister died in her 20s of lymphoma. Leukaemia Research uses money raised to research new treatments and cures for leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and the other blood cancers.
