Rescue teams went to the aid of swimmers in difficulty off Broad Haven last Friday afternoon.
Tenby's all-weather lifeboat, the Haydn Miller, was launched at 3 pm after a member of the public saw two girls in the water drifting offshore and around the corner from Broad Haven.
The ALB raced to the scene and searched for the girls.
Luckily, whilst searching, the girls managed to get ashore themselves.
The ALB, coastguard and rescue helicopter 169 were all stood down.
