Tenby’s brave Boxing Day Swimmers are being encouraged to splash out for good causes this festive season.

Swim organisers, the Tenby Sea Swimming Association, have nominated two main charities to support - Prostate Cymru and the Tenby Talking Newspaper.

Swimmers can collect for these, or their own chosen charities and good causes, via the official sponsor form.

Spectators are also encouraged to contribute to the bucket collections at the event to help the swim’s charities.

This year’s swim has, for the third year, welcomed Harbour Wealth Independent Financial Planners, Tenby as sponsor.

“The team at Harbour Wealth Independent Financial Planners are once again proud to sponsor the Boxing Day swim,” said Harbour Wealth director Chris Brace:

“It is a fantastic festive event, which everyone enjoys, while raising money for charity.

Now in its 49th year, the Tenby Boxing Day Swim is a major festive season highlight, attracting hundreds of crazy bathers and thousands of spectators.

This year’s fancy dress theme is Climate Change, with prizes on offer for the best adult and junior groups and individuals.
