Pembrokeshire's top young swimmers took part in a special skills camp at the weekend.
Nineteen of the best swimmers from five county clubs pooled their talent at Milford Haven Leisure Centre on Saturday.
The training session was the last in a series of six camps, which have been held throughout the year to develop the youngsters' aquatic skills.
The nine to 11-year-olds, who make up the county skills squad, were coached by Paul Dowey, Pembrokeshire Leisure's swimming development coach, and volunteer coaches from county clubs.
As well as diving in the pool for two two-hour sessions, the youngsters also took part in a land training session focusing on core stability, a session led by a karate instructor and listened to a talk on nutrition.
The squad will now take part in the Welsh summer nationals competition at the end of this month before facing re-selection for further camps next winter.
"The skills camps are designed for those youngsters who are already swimming competitively with their clubs," said Paul Dowey.
"They have been an opportunity for them to learn new skills, improve old ones and train together as a team."
The youngsters were selected from the five member clubs of Pembrokeshire County Swimming - Haverfordwest Seals, Tenby Dolphins, Fishguard Flyers, Milford Haven Tigers and Pembroke and District.
If any young swimmer is interested in taking up competitive swimming they should visit their local Pembrokeshire leisure centre where they will be able to find information about their nearest development swimming club.
