Among the visitors to share in Mrs. Betty Duncan's 100th birthday celebrations at Woodlands Lodge Residential Home, Gumfreston, on Sunday, were members of the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim committee. Mrs. Duncan was a founder member of Saundersfoot Festivities. She donates a trophy every year to the highest sponsored swimmer. She has also acted as starter for a New Year's Swim and was proud - although a little daunted at the time - to stand in the middle of the beach, waving a Welsh flag surrounded by hundreds of swimmers racing to the sea.
