A donation of £1,000 to the tsunami appeal has been made from Tenby's Boxing Day Swim. "We are very mindful of the fact that on the day that people in Tenby enjoyed themselves in the sea, so many others across the world were losing their lives and suffering devastation," said Chris Osborne, chairman of Tenby Sea Swimming Association, which organises the event. "Our committee members were unanimous that this donation should be made immediately from the bucket collection on Boxing Day, and we are sure that those who contributed will share our view." The money has been sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
