Sir, I am the chairman of Serendipity Holdings Limited. Myself, together with 40 individual business people in the Tenby, Saundersfoot and New Hedges area, lodged objections to the proposed development at New Hedges in the JUDP process. Together we raised over £30,000 in order that we could fund legal counsel and planning consultants to object to these proposals. I am surprised and disappointed at the action of Liberty Properties in applying for permission to carry out this development, when the matter is under consideration by the inspector, in the context of the JUDP inquiry. Given the circumstances, we are seeking through our legal team an undertaking from the authority that it will not grant planning permission in this case (if it is to do so at all), until the inspector's report on the JUDP dealing with this aspect has been issued and considered. If we do not receive an undertaking from the authority to this effect, it will be our intention to canvas the Welsh Assembly to ensure that the application is called in.
Mr. F. Booth, Serendipity Holdings Ltd.,
Warren House, The Salterns, Tenby.
