There has been a surprise visitor to Saundersfoot recently. This rare bird, a Squacco Heron, was spotted in her garden by Sara Josey. “I understand that they are not often seen in the UK,” she said. “I had to ask for help to identify it as it was not a bird I knew. It has been around for a few days, but is quick to fly off when you get near the window.”
