In March this year, the Rotary Club of Pembroke made a donation to the Friends of South Pembrokeshire Hospital of £2,500 to enable the hospital to acquire an Artromot - K4 hip and knee exercise machine for its physiotherapy department.

At a presentation ceremony at the hospital earlier this month, the club presented the Friends of the Hospital with a further cheque for £2,500, while the Inner Wheel Club of Pembroke presented a cheque for £1,200, which together will pay for a new Nimbus bed.

The donations totalling £5,000 by the Rotary Club were made possible following the hugely successful and well supported Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra Concert held in March at Folly Farm, which concert was generously sponsored by Valero Pembroke Refinery.
