The Pembrokeshire branch of the Alzheimer's Society held its annual general meeting at the Albany Hall in Haverfordwest.
South Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns is pictured at the event (right) with branch president Beryl Noyce and keynote speaker Jon Skone, director of social services for Pembrokeshire County Council.
"I was delighted to be able to support the Pembrokeshire Alzheimer's Society by attending their annual general meeting," said Mrs. Burns.
"My family has been directly affected by the condition and I was very impressed by the amount of work that the society does in helping those with alzheimer's and their carers in our county.
"I am determined to raise awareness about dementia in general and alzheimer's in particular and am now working with the branch to help them continue their excellent work."
