The opening of Asda in Pembroke Dock will represent an £2.2 million investment to the area and the creation of 100 new jobs for local people. The store in Gordon Street closed as a Co-op on Saturday for a number of weeks and will be re-opening on April 11 as an Asda store. Asda store manager, Steve Coggy, said: "We have been overwhelmed with the friendly reception we've received from the local community and can't wait to open. Everyone's going to be working really hard to get the store ready and we hope customers will be impressed when they see the range of products we've got to offer plus great customer service."
