Despite adverse weather reports, 13 Ramblers met at Caerfai for a 10-mile walk in glorious sunshine around the St. David's area. The route, taking a figure of eight pattern, followed the Coast Path to Porthclais. Then, turning inland along the lanes, passing Clegyr-Boia and on to Porthstinian.
It was then back on the Coast Path heading south, until a break for lunch was taken overlooking Shoe Rock and Ramsey Island. Here diving gannets and porpoise were seen.
Continuing onwards to Porthlysgi Bay, a camera was found and shortly afterwards returned to an overjoyed young couple on holiday from Australia, before returning to Porthclais.
After a brief stop, it was back inland to St. David's for very welcome refreshment in the Farmers Arms, before returning to Caerfai.
