Consultation over the future of Sunnybank residential home in Narberth has been extended for three weeks.

The consultation with residents, their families, staff and other interested parties, began last November.

The consultation will now finish on February 21.

Sunnybank is owned and managed by Pembrokeshire County Council.

The consultation follows a decision by the council's cabinet in the autumn to consult on the future of residential care services at the home.

County Clr. Wynne Evans, of Narberth, said: "The consultation period over the future of Sunnybank has now been extended for a further three weeks. I am delighted, this is good news. I still encourage as many as possible to take a few minutes to engage with this consultation. This is a important resource and the fight firmly remains on to keep this home."
