Pembrokeshire Ramblers last Sunday needed a combination of sunglasses and waterproofs to cope with a weather mixture of bright sunshine and squally showers, though they only had one serious shower.

After lunch, it as up Trewent Hill, and then down around the winding lanes to Stackpole Church. From there it was down the main track through Stackpole Cheriton woodlands, across the 'Hidden' bridge to the site of Stackpole House, and back round the lily ponds to Bosherston church. Probably eight or nine miles overall, much enjoyed by the 10 members who braved the elements.
Tomorrow (Saturday) will be the Pembrokeshire Ramblers' annual meeting at Caffi Beca on the A478 at Efailwen, starting at 11 am. After the meeting they will have lunch at the Caffi Beca, and then have a short walk nearby. Further details on (01437) 563095.
