THIS Sunday sees a Blues Brunch at Tenby's Fourcroft Hotel with Pembrokeshire band, Nagus.

Nagus have been forging a reputation for themselves as a truly innovative and powerful acoustic band.

Gigging extensively over the length and breadth of the country, they continue to build their following at festivals, concerts and venues throughout.

The immense power and passion in Mike Chant's (guitar/didgeridoo/vocals) voice, lifted forward by the intricate and complex fingerstyle techniques of young virtuoso Tom Chant, and the warm melodic fretless bass and flute playing of Elvire Beijdorff, create a deep and vibrant sound, full of energy and truth.

The Nagus sound has been influenced by such diversity of genre that it is impossible to specifically define their style.

Mike Chant, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist with an essence of Tull, Zeppelin, Harper, Floyd, etc., brings the acoustic rock edge, while Tom has developed his own dazzling finger style influenced by the world's top acoustic players such as Pierre Bensusan, Tommy Emmanuel and John Renbourne.

Mix that with Elvire's evocative style and classical/Baroque background and you have a truly engaging and innovative sound.

The Blues Brunch takes place from 12 noon until 3 pm and tickets cost £12 per head, including brunch.
