Thirteen members of the Pembrokeshire Ramblers Group met at Amroth on Saturday, enjoying a morning of fine sunshine. After walking to the Carmarthenshire border, they turned north along wooded tracks, before emerging onto the open moorland of Marros Mountain. Following a brief stop at Marros village, they continued across woods and fields to the Green Bridge, before heading south to Ragwen beach, where lunch was taken. The group then headed along the coast path to Marros Sands, enjoying fine views towards the Gower peninsula and Worms Head, before finishing the walk by traversing the beach at low tide to Amroth. The walk finished just as the rain set in for the afternoon. Tomorrow (Saturday) there will be a short walk in the Manorbier area, starting at Skrinkle Haven Youth Hostel at 10.30 am.

The walk leader is Karen Parfitt (01646 683427). On Sunday, January 27, there will be a long walk in the Strumble Head area, starting from Garn Fawr at 10 am. The walk leader is Daphne Morgan (01437 764770).
