The summer months bring out all the Art and Craft exhibitions and the Saundersfoot Water Colour Group are no exception. Already this summer they have held a successful show of their work in Saundersfoot. Currently, the water colourists are displaying their work at Lawrenny Village Hall and the show will be open every day from 11 am - 5 pm, until Saturday, August 19, and there is no entrance fee. Recently, on a glorious day in July, the group celebrated with a fabulous lunch and day of painting at the home of Mrs. Sue Batten, the birthday of one of its members, Mrs. Doreen Hammersly - the photograph shows the artists at this happy event. On display in Lawrenny will be original watercolour paintings of Pembrokeshire views and still-life studies and flower pictures. All the artists are students of Mrs. Yvonne Mannings, of the Apple Tree Gallery, Saundersfoot. There will also be many unframed original paintings for sale as well as prints and cards from the paintings.
